Award winning Active sports group
We are thrilled to announce that we have won the Social Impact Franchise of the Year Award.
Sophi Butler graduated in 2010 after studying a BSC in Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Gloucestershire. Whilst at university she adapted her courses to follow her real passion for becoming a PE teacher. She's undertaken various sports coaching and teaching modules and has since worked in education for the past 10 years.
Post university, Sophi served as a teaching assistant for two years, before qualifying and working as a PE teacher (2012 onwards). Since qualifying as a teacher, Sophi has specialised in teaching younger children, aged 2 to 13 years old.
From 2017 to 2020, Sophi was the Head of Girls Sports at a prep school in
Oxfordshire. She was then on maternity leave, welcoming her gorgeous daughter in September 2020.
Now, she joins Active Totz and can't wait to teach young children new skills and sports and share that with children, parents and nurseries in the Oxfordshire area.
"The pandemic has inspired me to turn my career in a slightly different direction. Lockdown has taught me the importance of parent-baby groups as well as leading a fit and healthy lifestyle and I am looking forward to combining both as I grow Active Totz Oxfordshire."
