Jack's Active Journey

Jack began his journey with the Active Sports Group as an Active Assistant looking to improve his coaching skillset before he went to University. While at University Jack gained his FA Level 2 qualification and progressed to an Active Coach increasing his responsibility. Throughout his degree, Jack continued to lead and deliver sessions across multiple schools in the Sefton area.

Now in his fifth year with Active and having recently graduated from Edge Hill University with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science Jack has been promoted to an Active Professional and currently leads sessions before, during and after school as well as being a part of the Head Office Team and leading our new Player Development Centre.

Jack commented “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Active Sport, developing many personal and technical skills in the process. I began my journey as an Active Assistant supporting and learning from fellow coaches whilst gaining my FA Level 2 qualification, which then allowed me to progress to an Active Coach. Throughout being an Active Coach I became more knowledgeable and confident, leading sessions in a variety of sports with different age ranges earning valuable experience. Now an Active Professional, I am enjoying my coaching leading sessions aiming to inspire children to live a healthy active lifestyle, whilst supporting their growth and development”
